PENNANT SEASON DATES
  • The Senior Pennant Season is played on weekdays and consists of 6 rounds (6 weeks), typically beginning in the last week of February and finishing in the first week of April, with finals to follow.
  • All details of the coming Pennant Season will be communicated and published by the VGL toward the end of 2025.
​ELIGIBILITY OF PLAYERS
  • A player in Senior Scratch, Handicap and Seniors Pennant must be a bona-fide affiliated member of the Club that he represents by the 1st January in the current year.
  • He must also hold a current Australian Handicap by the first round of pennant and in the Pennant matches he competes in.
  • As of the 1st October in the preceding year until the first round of pennant each player must return at least FIVE 18-hole cards (TWO 9-hole cards equal ONE 18-hole card) in singles competition played at the club they represent.
  • ​A player competing in Senior’s pennant must have attained the age of 55 years prior to the first round of the season.
