4BBB Championships - RulesThe top four nett scores by pairs of Members in the 4BBB Qualifying Round make up the 4 pair field.
Semi-Final and Final matches will be played as knockout 4BBB Matchplay. The lowest marker of the 4 players is deemed to be off Scratch and the other players’ handicaps are adjusted accordingly to determine where strokes are given. Matchplay Index will apply. For example: Player A 17 Hcp - becomes 10 Hcp Player B 22 Hcp - becomes 15 Hcp Players C 7 Hcp - becomes Scratch Player D 13 Hcp - becomes 6 Hcp If a pair is not available on a given date, then they forfeit the match unless they can make an arrangement with their opponents to play the match at a mutually suitable date prior to the next scheduled round. In the event of a halved match in any round, the last stipulated round is deemed to extend to as many holes as are required for a match to be won. If a match ends all-square it will be decided by a hole-by-hole play-off (starting at the 1st) until one side wins a hole. Handicap strokes are taken as in the normal match. This competition is open to Members only. Non-members are welcome to play in the qualifying comp, but will not be able to progress to the knockout rounds. 4BBB Championships 2025 - Results
