Out of Bounds - Defined by boundary fence, including maintenance compound. Rule 18.2 applies. Out of Bounds 1st Hole - Defined by white poles (black tops) along the eastern border (car park side) of the first hole. Rule 18.2 applies. Out of Bounds 10th Hole - Defined by white poles (black tops) along the border of the driving range practice fairway. Rule 18.2 applies. Garden Beds - A Garden Bed marked with a white GUR stake is a no play zone that is to be treated as an abnormal course condition. Free relief MUST be taken from interference by the no play zone under Rule 16.1f. Staked Trees or Staked Shrubs - A Staked Tree or Staked Shrub in the general area is a no play zone. If a player's ball lies anywhere on the course other than in a penalty area and it lies on or touches such a tree or such a tree interferes with the player's stance or area of intended swing, the player must take relief under Rule 16.1f. Fixed Sprinklers/Tap Covers & Course Signage - Fixed Sprinklers/Tap Covers, all signage (including stakes & ropes) are abnormal course conditions (immovable obstructions), relief may be taken under Rule 16-1. Road/Gravel Path – Roads and gravel paths in the general area are abnormal course conditions, relief may be taken under Rule 16-1b. Embedded Stones – Firmly embedded stones in the general area are an abnormal course condition relief may be taken under Rule 16-1b. Interference does not exist if embedded stones only interfere with the player's stance. Drought Cracks – Cracks in the ground in the general area are ground under repair. The player may take relief under Rule 16.1b. Interference does not exist if the crack only interferes with the player's stance. Kangaroo Marks in Bunkers – Kangaroo Marks in a bunker are an abnormal course condition. The player may take relief under Rule 16.1c. Interference does not exist if the kangaroo marks only interfere with the player's stance. |
