Competition Conditions of Entry
Saturday & Public Holiday Club Competitions Saturday and Public Holiday competitions are open to any Amateur player with a valid handicap & GolfLink number. Professionals may enter, but are not eligible to win prizes. Players must enter via the Pro Shop by providing their GolfLink number and paying a $8 Entry Fee. The Marker's Name and GolfLink number must be recorded on the Player's scorecard. Penalty for breach - disqualification. Players must tee-off before 13:00 during Daylight Saving, and before 12:00 during the rest of the year. Penalty for breach - disqualification Competitions are subject to GFGC Local Rules - see here for details. Subject to field size competitions will usually feature four grades, A (Daily Handicap 10 and under), B (11-18), C (19 and over) & Women. GFGC Trophy Events Some Club Trophy Events are run under special conditions, please see individual pages for details. Pro Shop Competitions (usually Wednesday, Friday & Sunday) Pro Shop Competitions are administered by the Pro Shop and feature a different grade and prize system. Ties decided by countback. Each Club competition a ball will be added to the Eagle’s Nest, with any Club Member scoring an eagle to win all of the balls. If two or more members score an eagle during the same comp, the balls will be shared. Please inform the handicapper /secretary ASAP if you score an eagle. |
