The Match Committee would like to clarify the Local Rule for “Staked Trees”.
This rule only applies to “staked” trees or "staked" shrubs and does not apply in any other circumstance. Relief is not to be taken from trees or shrub under 2 club lengths in height that are not staked, otherwise the relevant penalty will be applied.

- Staked Trees (or shrubs) under 2 club lengths - If a staked tree or staked shrub (under 2 club lengths in height) interferes with stance or swing, relief must be taken under Rule 24-2 b.(i)
