- To promote the game of golf and to encourage good fellowship among the regular patrons of the Growling Frog Golf Course
- To establish and carry on a golf club for the members of the club and their friends, and generally afford them all the comforts, conveniences and privileges of a club
- To promote and hold alone, or jointly with any other club or persons, competitions and matches for the playing of golf, and to offer, give or contribute towards prizes, trophies, medals and awards thereof
- To promote social functions and encourage social life between the members of the club and their friends
- To admit any person (where eligible or not for full membership) as a member of the club upon such terms, and to confer on him/her such rights and privileges, as may be deemed expedient
- To establish, subscribe to, promote, become a member of, support, amalgamate with, or cooperate with any other association or club whose objects are similar to those of this club, and join and become a member of any authority controlling golf in Victoria for the time being
- To promote or subscribe to any charitable or public institution or society
